Recommended beach on Mallorca: Son Serra de Marina

One of the best beaches on Mallorca is the one between Son Serra de Marina and Colonia San Pedro. Unlike most of the other beaches on the island this one is still unspoiled, no holiday accommodation here. Although... they were planning to approve licenses for constructions, but these have been declined after heavy protests from locals and nature lovers. Also for our dog Borre this is a great beach. In Summertime this beach is still relatively quiet, but too crowded for Borre to walk without leash.

Coming towards half way you will already see from quite a distance a sailing boat on the beach made from driftwood and other materials washed ashore. It was already there in 2012 and some people like ourselves improve it if we find suitable material on the beach. Like a while ago when we found a long piece of rope which we used as the bowsprit.

Coming back to Son Serra de Marina, you will first get to restaurant El Sol. They know how to prepare a decent meal for a reasonable price and it's always busy, especially with Germans.
