Greetings from Kenosis Foundation (KF), Bangalore City, India!

Kenosis Foundation (KF) seeks volunteers,internship students, and Ambassadors to help our work with mostly women and girl children in India, and partners in Nepal, Sri Lanka, African and European countries.

If you volunteering from home as an Ambassador, please share your brief profile, why and what you like to do, along with your passport size picture, which we can upload on our board and staff. Regarding tasks/roles of an ambassadors, we will email you. The task/roles are very simple.

ABOUT US:

Kenosis Foundation (KF) is more than 10 years old, a charity, not a funded organization and rely on volunteer’s skill, and their contributions to carry our daily operation of our projects. To continue our good humanitarian projects, we needs volunteer’s supports to build projects in India and Nepal. We got registered on 29th June 2013 with a registered number 166/ 2013-2014 as a not for profit organization under Trust Act 1882.

ABOUT VOLUNTEERING:

Kenosis offers exciting volunteering, Internship and ambassador opportunities at top-performing, vetted organizations all over the world.

DESTINATIONS:

We have been working on systematic operation procedure and building network to offer placement across globe not only in India but also across globe with our partners, namely Nepal, Sri Lanka, African Countries, and European Countries within affordable prices. For this, Kenosis will be a platform and lead entire process to finding placement, train and until volunteers return to their home country.

WHEN TO APPLY:

We have developed latest website with several opportunities. Anyone, can apply online through our website and reserve their seats before 2-3 months advance by making registration and processing fee. Within 24 hours, you will receive volunteer eligibility to participate in the program.

PROGRAM COSTS:

The program fee can be paid before 45 days to your actual volunteer start date. The program fee meets all your in country expenses such as food, stay, and airport pick up, training, certificate for credits and more. Program fee starts at 180 USD/a week and one time registration,processing, and placement fee is 250 USD. Minimum stay 1-2 weeks could be helpful. For short stay of 1-4 weeks cost 350 USD only.

COVIDE-19
As of now, Covid-19 pandemic, all our program operation stopped until June 2020. However, you can register, choose projects, project travel location, reserve your seats by submitting application form, make your registration and process fee, get confirmed, receive resource kit and trained, book flight tickets, Visa, health insurance, prepare what to pack and departure to your volunteer destination and more. Kenosis has a emergency contacts with local multi-specialty hospital to care for your health and safety.

Our head office is in Bangalore city, Karnataka State, India. We do have partners office in Nepal, Sri Lanka, African Countries (Uganda, east Africa, Ghana, and European Countries). If you wish to travel and volunteer with partners, do write to us.

Meet ISSAC RAYAPPAN ~ Founder, President, and Managing Director
Issac leads the daily operations of Kenosis Foundation. He has completed a Bachelor's degree in science (Zoology, biochemistry, biology, environment, and biotech). As part of his religious training, he has also received a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Theological studies. He worked several years on health, education, child rights, human rights and community development projects. After several years of priestly duties and missionary work experience with the rural poor in remote villages and slum communities; he envisioned an organization with a fully committed working staff. Subsequently, he registered Kenosis Foundation (KF) with the Government of India on the 29, July 2013; in order to continue his mission.

His positive and powerful experiences led him to believe that other like-minded people would enjoy similar opportunities. He then completed his Masters of Philosophy (M. Phil.) degree in Community Health and organizational Development.

He has some experience in nonviolent compassionate communication (NVC). In the past organized trainings and workshops for students, youth, educators and heads of NGOs in India. His long desire is to spread NVC among young people, educators and parents through schools, colleges and other educational settings. He is a full-time contributor to multiple projects of the Kenosis Foundation and building partnerships across the world to work with different cultures and create more space for intercultural and youth exchange programs.

He takes care of organizing the entire international Volunteers projects in coordination with international agencies. He is also devoted to increasing the chances of partnerships for implementation of ecotourism programs in India.

Work exchange deal

Your accommodation depends on where you are placed (Villages, towns and cities). Stay with beneficiaries house or staff ,where you will have common or shared rooms, toilets, get involved in cooking and learn Indian dishes or cook your own food and teach them, eat together in flexible timings, the families are more welcoming , more safety , supports, emergency health care supports, hot water facilities, and have your own freedom to move around and attend gatherings or go out etc. Mosquito nets and repellents, provided. No internet or computers available. You can take monthly pack up and charge it.

3 meals a day with morning and evening coffee breaks, snacks and other eatables, variety of Indian dishes, pure drinking water, fruits and vegetables and other possible beverages. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian food provided.

  • no money is involved

No stipend or salary for the volunteering. Its a free service to the organization.
