We are a self sustaining farm in the Eastern Townships of southern Quebec.

Growing your own food naturally
Harvesting, preparing and preserving home grown food as well as wild foods and berries
Grafting fruit trees (apples, pears, cherries, plums)
Haying, fencing and taking care of cattle
Building ponds to conserve water
Developing free heating sources from water
Designing and constructing buildings
Cutting trees into firewood, logs into lumber, and lumber into buildings
Flying in small airplanes and learning how to build and maintain them
Combining high tech and low tech
Square and contra dancing

English, French
English is primary but some French is spoken.
3 adults in residence with 2 cats. 6 dogs in their own building. Dogs do what we do though out the day. Check out web site www.ctq2.org We do what we can from scratch and make as much as we can for ourselves from raw materials. We square dance and build ponds. We like to create a beautiful functional space.
Two rooms available, one with twin beds and one with a queen bed. Shared bath room, wifi, shared main rooms. Homey and family style with cats and dogs.
Shared meals and conversation. You can help prepare. Mostly food we grow ourselves.
