About the workproject

We need 3 volunteers

For 2021 on May 5 - 21 and June 28 - July 30 I am seeking volunteers to assist on our property (almost 100 acres) in the remote rainforest town of Buena Vista. We do daily check in, yoga classes 2-3x a week and share groups (NVC or talking stick). The volunteer projects will involve assisting to cook and clean, trail and plant maintenance and simple maintenance projects for 4-5 hours. Basic meals are included. Fruits, roots and vegetables are harvested off the land when in season. If you have special dietary needs please bring along what you need. I request that there are no drugs or alcohol on the property. The location requires hardy people that are willing to live sustainable off the grid. We have running water for the shower and sink and a nearby spot to dip in the brook. To get to the property usually involves hiking in and out 30-40 minutes.

Cell signal is not available at the house, but reception is possible at the higher spots on the property. Weekends you may want to go to the beach and you are not required to stay. Sunday mornings we honor silence.

Come spend some time in the heart of the rainforest!
