We need 2 volunteers
We have a 2 acre block in a quiet rural setting with fruit and macademia nut trees. The work is mainly pruning these trees and ornamental trees, making firewood and helping setting up the vegetable garden. The other gardens will need weeding and maintenance.
We like to have two people at the same time who can work together as a team.
Make sure you have a working visa for New Zealand, you need this also as a volunteer if you come from overseas.

We do have a little of French and Spanish, but reading is easier than speaking or understanding!
We are immigrants, having come to NZ in 1989. We lived in many places and settled down on a 2 acre block after cruising for 4 years. We have done farming of beef cattle, goats and alpaca. Hans currently works in the boating industry and Jeannette is on the lifestyle block fulltime, managing gardens and orchards. She is interested in weaving and pottery and cooking, preserving all the fruit etc. In their former (pre-cruising) lives he was an IT person and she working in animal health care and administration.
We live in the far north of New Zealand, close to the Bay of Islands, Ninety Mile Beach, Hokianga and more interesting places.
Jeannette bakes her own bread, makes wine and Hans brews his own beer. We live in a very comfortable, rustic house and offer a nice bedroom to our guests.
