We are a small boutique hotel of high standard in West Africa The Gambia. The hotel contains 18 beds including a restaurant. Our season is always 6 month a year from November until April (dry season). We have 23 of local staff for gardening, room service, restaurant service and kitchen.
We are looking for a skilled cook who would be able to give the local cooks some advise and help about special menus, organisation, cleanlines and upgrading cooking practice. We offer free accommodation meals and a certain salary to local standards. Our website is www.whitehorseresidence.com

I am Peter, the host of the hotel. I am a 74 year old German and the manager of the hotel where I also live in. Since 12 years I do live permanently in The Gambia but have been traveling to this country since 42 years. The hotel was developed out of a private home which I build in 2012. We are starting now into our 3rd season and for the first two seasons the hotel got the certificate of excellence from tripadvisor. I want to upgrade our menu quality and diversity by the help of a skilled cook. I am a retired consultant for Renewable Energy Power Plants in Germany. The hotel for me is part of a hobby and part commercial.
The name of the hotel is my German family name translated in to English "Weissferdt = White Horse"
