About the workproject

We need 3 volunteers

We have an awesome hostel a block away from the beach in the little fishing village of El Cuco. We also own a hotel by Las Flores Point Break and we use a portion of our proceeds to fund the projects we do with the kids in the community. We need help at the hostel taking care of guests, doing housework etc. We also need help working with the youth in the community. Surf guiding experience is a plus, as we often have surf guests and need someone to drive our clients to other surf spots, make fruity drinks, or go on boat trips to Punta Mango in the mornings and make sure the coolers are stocked and the staff knows the client's needs. Ideally, you would be able to work at the hostel 2 days and then help out with one of our other projects the other 3 days.
We want you to have fun so that our guests have fun. Help planning movie or game nights would be awesome.

I am originally from California... I started to visit El Cuco when I was in university at UC Berkeley. I wanted to have a business that gave back to the community and so I created a hotel to help fund the projects I wanted to do. It is a family run operation and I bought this house in El Cuco and called it my home for the past 3 years. I have recently fallen in love and moved up the road a bit and created the hostel to share the town I love with others. Our non profit work in the past 10 years, includes building schools, paying for teachers salaries and an after school project.
