Green Island School provides pre-school education to over 50 children aged 2-5, all from the poor township of North Okkalapa in Yangon. The school is privately funded, and is always looking for volunteers to help teaching the children or providing other support. Check out the website: www.greenislandschool.com.

My name is Khaing Zar, I am the founder of Green Island School. I am married and have one daughter. We live with my husband and my parents in the house you will also share with us. I strongly believe that every child should have a chance in life. Caring for little children from disadvantaged households who otherwise would have a difficult start in life is my passion, it's what I want to do with my life. We will provide you with a warm welcome in our home.
Private bedroom in a large, safe, clean house. House has Western standards.
