I arrived in Puerto Rico October 13th 2017 to volunteer for 5 days... And I am still here on this isla bonita as the recovery and renewal continues to thrive! I'm grateful to have the time and resources to put my boots on the ground to help PR. I've been a gypsy traveling business woman since my nest became empty in 2010. I'm embracing the freedom of a life well planned on the fly!
Each room has either one cot or two and a full bath. The accommodations are camping styled with access to electricity. The showers are not heated. There is community outdoor dining area and a kitchenette. There is a fire pit and charcoal grill.
We will prepare a dinner for you twice during your stay and you are welcome to use the kitchenette to prepare meals.
We invite donor volunteers to participate and sponsor the room or project you work on while visiting our project. It receives NO outside funding... This is a donor sponsored labor of love for the people of Puerto Rico and this community specifically. Donors get to name the suite they sponsor & renovate! Project donors offer to assist with projects that range between $150-$500. Details available if interested!
