Hostel needs volunteer helpers

About the workproject

We need 1 volunteer

Come & help us at our homely hostel in central Nelson. We have one helper (in exchange for accommodation) leaving in the next week or so. Please only contact us if you're available now or in the next week.

We are a 5 to 10 minutes walk from town. The atmosphere here is very friendly, warm (log fire and heaters in all the rooms) and relaxed. Good Kiwi music, lots of books and magazines, games and a guitar.

Work is for up to 3 hours a day with one day off a week. We like you to stay for a minimum of 3 weeks. In return you get free accommodation, free unlimited wifi, free breakfast and every night we serve up hot chocolate pudding and ice cream all year around. Also free use of washing machine.

Tasks will be mainly helping to clean the hostel, but might also be gardening, painting, maintenance, etc..... there's always lots to do depending on your strengths & interests.

We extra value people that are very keen, enthusiastic, and love to help out in any way to give our guests the best experience they can get.
