Animal Lovers

Genuine caring volunteers only. Male or female.
Non violent gathering of vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters living, co-existing and working together to support an animal welfare charity. We have 21 dogs, 3 horses, 1 goat, 30+ cats, 10+ rabbits, ducks, chickens, roosters, geese, turkeys and other animals found abandoned in bins and by roads. We nurse them back to good health then rehouse them.
We exist solely on the basis of charity donations of money and food and all contributions go to the feeding and the welfare of the animals.
Work consists of daily care of animals, grooming, clearing up waste, mopping up urine and picking up shit (not as bad as it sounds) feeding animals, gardening (planting and growing veg, herbs and weeding) Some maintenance (fixing stuff, decorating) and Plumbing.
Animals are mostly friendly and huggable. Those that are not, we give fair warning but an animal can read people well and good people always receive love eventually.
Accommodation : Bunk beds in our bunkhouse, and camping (bring your own tent)
Necessary mentions : Lots of barking (The dogs let us know if there are visitors) and 3 times a day, they all sing in chorus. Light sleepers should bring ear plugs.
