About the workproject

We need 2 volunteers

We're Mike and Suzie. We have a small organic permaculture farm, Carraig Dulra, in rural County Wicklow, Ireland. We grow food, host community groups and teach permaculture.

We live in an old stone cottage near the farm, we're fixing up and extending with ecological materials.

Accommodation is a caravan at Carraig Dulra, where there is a camp kitchen we keep stocked up for volunteers. Some days you'll be working on the farm, others we might ask you to help with some building work at the cottage.

You may be working on your own part of the time, other times you'll be working with us or other volunteers or friends. We prefer to have at least 2-3 volunteers here at any time, which helps to create a little community onsite.

We don't expect you to have any particular skills, but willingness to learn and determination to keep going are important!

Originally from the USA, he's lived in Ireland for most of his life.

Suzie, originally from Northern Ireland, does a lot of work in the community, both for her charity employer and for local groups. She is an organic grower and a permaculture teacher.
