My name is Eva and I am a 28 year old traveler from Belgium. My purpose in life is to get as many different experiences as possible!
I love to travel, learn foreign languages, read books, watch movies (at home and in the cinema), meet friends and try new things among other things.
I speak 8 languages: Flemish, French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and basic Mandarin Chinese.
I have two degrees, one in tourism and another in event management. I studied at two different Belgian universities. I did part of those studies in Spain, Germany and Brazil.
I have worked in Norway as a cleaning lady in a B&B. I have worked in Spain as an overseas representative for a big tour operator. I have worked in France as a receptionist (on a campsite and in a hotel). I have worked as an au pair in Brazil and Italy. I have done internships at the airport in Brussels as a passenger service agent and in Rio de Janeiro as an event manager. I have volunteered in Brazil and the Dominican Republic as an English teacher. I have worked for EF in England where I performed the role of homestay coordinator. I have worked as a receptionist in Rio during the Olympics.
Over the past ten years I have lived in Belgium, Norway, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, the United States, England, Brazil and the Dominican Republic. I have also traveled to Portugal, Cuba, Turkey, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Scotland, Wales, San Marino, the Vatican, Austria and Switzerland.

Preferred location

I am traveling to Australia on a working holiday visa for a period of 1 year from 18 January 2017 to 17 January 2018. I am looking to go to Sydney.

Skills

I speak 7 languages rather fluently: Flemish (my mother tongue), French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. I also have a basic understanding of Mandarin Chinese.
Because of extensive traveling I have quite a few intercultural skills.
I have teaching skills, receptionist skills, administrative skills and hospitality skills. I have experience working in tourism and also in the event sector.
I have childcare experience as a teacher and as an au pair.
