About me

Janita: Hi. My name is Janita Nyyssönen, I am a 20 year old student from Finland. I am a positive, hard working person who loves to travel and experience new cultures. I am currently studying Psychology in the University of Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland. I can speak fluent Finnish and English and I have basic knowledge of Swedish and German. I am a non-smoker and I have a driver's licence. I am vegan but I can cook and buy groceries myself and I have also cooked non vegan foods for my family and when I was an au pair for my au pair child. I have basic skills in cleaning, cooking, gardening etc. I have worked as a nanny in Finland since 2014 for the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare which has helped me to get skills in child care and has given me more responsibility. I also worked as an au pair in England last spring for over 3 months which helped me develop those skills even further. I also learned how to work with different people. I have also worked in a factory, that specialised in making skylight windows and fans for busses, in the summer of 2015 where I assembled different parts and build basic fans etc. There I learned to work independently as well as a part of a team. I also learned time management as I was studying for my finals at the same time. I could help in all kinds of different areas including child care, general maintenance, cooking/shopping, help in the house, helping with tourists, teaching and cleaning etc. I have started studying Korean this year and would love to learn more of it which is why I decided to apply for this opportunity. I am also very interested in the Korean culture and when I visited Seoul last summer, I fell in love with the city. I would also love to meet new people from all over the world and get a great work experience and develop my skills in different areas. My travel days are from 4th of April until 2nd of May.
Linnea: Hello! I'm Linnea. I am a student, 18, from Turku, Finland. I work at a home-help service for the elderly and have many years of work experience. I'm bilingual, I speak fluent English and Finnish. I grew up in South Hampshire, close to London, UK. I also study many languages, currently focusing on Mandarin Chinese. I'm a lively, happy, hard-working person and willing to help with cleaning, maintenance, etc. whatever is needed and asked for! My travel days are from 4th of April until 5th of May.
