I finished my school career in June 2016 and secured a place in University to study Leisure and Events Management. I deferred this place in order to work to fund a trip to Australia. At present I am working three jobs in the retail and food industry where i have developed team working, time management and people skills. I keep fit by playing football regularly for an amateur football team. I have an interest in charity work and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity in the summer of 2015.
We are two Irish men planning on travelling to Australia from mid April for approximately 4-6 months starting in Melbourne and travelling up the East Coast to Cairns.
We are both strong, healthy and hard working 19 year olds who are taking a year out before heading to University in the United Kingdom. We have experience in retail, construction, the food industry, cleaning, farming, gardening and general maintenance. We both have full UK Driving Licences and plan to buy a car in Australia. We are open to any type of work in return for free accommodation.
I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.
