About me

After working in Marketing and Social Media for 5 years in London, I'm finally returning to Sydney via South America. I am interested in doing as many volunteer placements as possible to prolong my travels and because it's the best way to learn about a country/city and meet people. In 2008 I taught English one day a week for 6 months while I was studying in France and in 2010 I worked in some orphanages in Vietnam caring for babies, teaching basic English to children and caring for children with disabilities, which was a rewarding but heartbreaking experience and one that I would love to replicate.
I studied Communications and Professional Writing at university and love to read and write. I also enjoy hiking, running and generally keeping fit.

Preferred location

I am currently travelling through South America until December and looking for volunteer projects in each of the countries listed.

Skills

My background is in marketing/social media and I have great communication/writing skills and basic Spanish that is getting better every day! I am particularly interested in placements involving animals but open to other opportunities.

Additional info

I am not a smoker, don't have a drivers license, I am a vegetarian and I have no allergies.
