About me

I was born in İstanbul and have been blessed to spend my whole life in this magnificent city. I studied Business Administration at a local university. I build my own business of manufacturing and exporting of pens and ran it successfully for many years. I also had a business where I worked with a team of professionals repairing and restorating historical buildings for 8 years.
I decided to take a break to see the world and meet new people about two years ago; which I am extremely grateful that I did. I have travelled so far 70 cities in 34 countries, via hitchhiking and only with my backpack.
I am an open-minded and easy going person who has recently made travelling a way of life for himself, with lots of desire to see new places and meet new people in his heart. I would love to not just learn about new cultures, but also live through them; sharing daily life, meals, laughter etc. while working or just enjoying time. I can communicate easily with people from all social groups, ages and cultures. I am a good-humored hard worker, who can dedicate himself to job at hand taking full responsibility. I am also a fast learner always up for new challenges.
While I love all art, I am especially interested in dance, music, theater and painting. I try to go to concerts, plays, museums and exhibitions both in my hometown and during my travels. I am a member of a pretty large Folk Music & Folk Dance Group, with which I have travelled to many countries for shows and festivals.
I have made my accommodation arrangements through Couchsurfing for my travels in the past until I met Workaway through a friend who has experienced it. I have been investigating the projects/hosts at different places I would love to see and became really excited to see that I would be a great contributor to many of them.
I consider myself to be very committed, well organized and cooperative.

*️️️️️️️️ I would love to learn about the local food, so I can learn quickly and cook for you. I would bea great help in the kitchen. I can also cook a few dishes from the Turkish cuisine
*️️️️️️️️ I love animals, of all kinds and am very good with them. I would love to help you with the livestock; you just show me what to do once
*️️️️️️️️ I am also quite interested in the projects for sustainable agricultural (permaculture) pracces. I would love to volunteer for all the jobs on the organic and ecologic farming projects; I can plant saplings, pick fruits and vegetables and more
