I have been learning German through school for 5 years and can underatand (slow) spoken German and writing quite well. I have never been to Germany though so I am keen to try out my skills there! Ich freue mich auf wenn ich da besuche! :)

About me

I have just graduated from grade 12 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia where I studied the IB diploma. This course allowed me to continue my wide range of interests and gain a global perspective through my studies. At school I was on the student council and service committees as I am passionate about helping others and making the world a kinder place for all.
Outside of school I have played soccer for around 8 years, surf with my family, rock climb with my mother and play music whenever I can (guitar and piano). I live near a beach just out of town so I naturally love the outdoors and animals. Most of all I love to travel and meet new people !! (From the little experience I have had so far)

Preferred location

I am planning to cycle and backpack through Europe, but as this is only a vague plan I am open to anywhere and everywhere to help out. I am enthusiastic about meeting people and trying new things so I am prepared to change my trip if someone needs a volunteer off my original route.

Skills

I have a broad range of interests: from academics (particularly sciences) to outdoor activities and I love learning new things so I am open to trying to help in any way I can. I speak a little German so I could help teach that somewhere.

Additional info

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

Flexible vegetarian - happy to eat whatever is available and causes the least problems!
