I hope to go to UCL in September 2019 to study history and French but before then I want to take a gap year to properly explore French culture in a way that cannot be taught in lessons. I am driven and hardworking, especially when it comes to things I am passionate about. I play the cello, piano and sing and love all types of music, I also love reading and hope to improve my reading in French in order to explore French literature further. I enjoy going out with my friends and exploring new places or meeting new people. I am also quite outdoorsy, going on many hiking holidays in Wales with my family, I love the peace of the mountains!
I would like to spend my gap year exploring the French West Indies and immersing myself in the culture in order to learn the language in the most effective way possible.
I study history, french, english literature and music and will enjoy getting stuck into anything I could be useful for, especially if it is artistic in any way!! I have taken part in a programme helping young children with their reading and will gain further childcare experience over the summer with a local childminder.
I am not a smoker, don't have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.
