About me

I am an ex-primary school teacher and children's librarian.
Recently retired but busy with my gardening, landscaping, DIY tasks on my 100+ year old house and planning my next trip to Europe.
I am sociable and love meeting new people, I like to be physically active, doing projects, walking, helping family and friends.

Preferred location

Most of my time in Europe is already occupied with helping out at various friends properties but I have some time free in August when I am in the south west of England.

Skills

I was bought up on a dairy farm in New Zealand and did all the usual farm chores. Since 2007 I have periodically done WWOOFing on various smallholdings in the UK - doing a wide range of tasks from woodland work to jam making, but weeding, potting on, planting out and harvesting being the most common tasks.
I can also turn my hand to interior decoration, elder care, house cleaning and basic carpentry.

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.
