About me

Hi, I’m Ruby, an actress from Northern Ireland. I’m taking a year to travel around Asia to meet new people, listen to fascinating stories, and experience life lived differently - I’ve just spent an amazing 3 months volunteering at an orphanage in Mongolia.
I’m a strong communicator who loves to listen to the experiences of others. I love the theatre, getting out in nature, sharing local food and culture, dancing to live music, and reading a great book over a pint.
One thing that has helped on my travels so far is my open minded attitude - I endeavour to be warm, friendly, and positive, which I hope will make me easy to work with! I’m a responsible, adaptable person who is keen to try new things and experience all the weird and wonderful things the world has to offer.

Skills

I’m an actor by trade - by definition this means I have experience doing dozens of other jobs! I have great communication skills and lots of customer service experience in a very wide range of jobs. I have many years’ childcare experience, including working as a nanny in London for children aged 6 months to 13 years. I’m an experienced waitress and bartender, and an excellent cleaner. Although I’m not trained in any particular manual trade, I’m fit, active and willing to roll my sleeves up and get stuck into whatever needs doing. I’m a very organised and responsible person, who endeavours to bring energy and positivity to any experience. Very keen to try new things!
