I'm a writer/ photographer/ educator/explorer with a passion for the arts, literature, history and culture...
Travel feeds my passion--- I began crossing borders at the tender age of 3 and have yet to be sated. More to say on that subject later.
I grew up in California... But my family home is in Grand Haven, a lovely resort town on Lake Michigan. Currently I reside in Chicago where I attended the School of the Art Institute and earned my MFA in 2003.

Preferred location

I'd like to volunteer in Catalonia/Spain from Dec 8 though the holidays, into mid January, however , I am open to other options.
My home is in Chicago. I'm willing to volunteer nearly anywhere, but I'm partial to historic European cities and villages.

Skills

I have writing, editing and photography skills. I also have a keen eye for design and can help you decorate and organize your live/work space.
I'm a TEFL certified native English speaker with a masters degree in Writing, an abundance of teaching and tutoring experience.
I have a small pet sitting business called "Conchitas Caravan" in Chicago. which I began after the demise of Kitty Camus, (1999-2014) Since Camus's passing,, I've cared for a variety of kitties, dogs, birds and other creatures.
