About me

I'm a nature guide and run a company called European Walking Safari that runs expeditions, workshops, courses on nature connection/Animal tracking/forest ecology. My partner Aukje Dekker is an artist and runs a successful culture house in Amsterdam called Sexyland. Together we have a vast range of skills to help contribute to any project you have up and running or need help starting.

Preferred location

We are currently based in Amsterdam, Holland but are looking for experiences in areas with wild nature next to National parks. Places could range from northern Spain to Sri Lanka. Our options are open and only need is vibrant natural setting.

Skills

We are a family of 3 (Myself Kristian, Aukje and our 9 year old son Sol) looking to work in Eco projects that are centred around agricultural restoration and nature conservation worldwide. We are currently based in Amsterdam but have a desire to be involved in a more grounded rhythm beyond the city.
I myself am a nature guide and also work in wolf conservation in Europe, Aukje is an artist and runs her own culture house in Amsterdam called Sexyland. Together we want to show our son different attitudes to living and understanding the land. We are looking for opportunities that as a family we can contribute to and amplify. We have tremendous energy, many skills including construction (we built our own house), project management, nature expedition leaders, ecology educators, art commissions, permaculture. We speak English, Dutch and Spanish. If you project is in the wild and touches nature then we are up for giving you our very best. Thanks for reading.
