Although I studied law, I did not practice law after my first 1.5 years. I spent most of my work life at a broadcast/sports tech company and mostly worked on-site very actively doing physical work as well. So I can say I am good at technical stuff. I left my job after working there 4 years and living in two different countries (the last one being Paraguay).
Since I quit my job I have been reading about ruminant nutrition (for about 7-8 months now) and I decided to start my own business at selling sustainable animal feed additives that improve efficiency at farms without harming the environment or animals. I did all this reading and research while I was in Paraguay and had a chance to visit a lot of dairy & beef farms during my stay there.
Later I became the distributor of a Brazilian feed additive producer decided to move back to Turkey. I recently imported my first batch from Brazil and I am keen to learn more about livestock production. That's why I am interested in volunteering at farms.
Also I am an amateur music producer and I play various instruments. Making music and collaborating with other artists mean a lot to me.
Hi everyone,
This is Ugur, 29 years old, born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey.
I have been working non-stop since 5 years now and planning to quit my job soon. That's actually the reason why I joined workaway community. I want to take some time off from the corporate world after I quit and enjoy some physical work as a "workawayer"
I have a degree in law but I quit practicing 4.5 years ago. I am currently working as an operations manager for a multinational sports-tech company and based in Paraguay, responsible for the operations of some new projects in Latam region. Before moving to Paraguay, I was involved in many other projects in many other regions. So I can say that I have already been traveling a lot because of my job. Then I have realized that I really enjoy cultural exchange/getting to know people from other parts of the world. So I am very keen on continuing to travel and experience different cultures after I leave my job.
I adore nature and love physical work. Sports & nature have always been a major part of my life. Also I am an amateur music producer/musician.
So I can help the hosts with any kind of physical work. I can also teach English & Turkish + music production.
Feel free to get in touch and ask anything. I am also open to travel buddies.
