About me

Well well, I am not en expert in 'telling something about myself' but I'll try.
My name's Femke,I I am 21 years old and extremely wanderlust. I am so sooo curious to learn something new and to obtain more knowledge about this world. Travelling became a lifestyle and I absolutely adore it. This love for travelling does not really go hand in hand with the need of a diploma. Im a student and i'm studying European studies in the North of the Netherlands. I try to combine my studies and my love for exploring by going on short budget-friendly trips throughout the whole year while saving for a big trip in summer.

Preferred location

Nothing is too far, too wild, too good, too bad, too religious, too cold or too hot for me. I am ready for new experiences. I can go wherever my heart wanders.

Skills

I would say that I am willing to learn anything and everything. Wherever I go I feel the need to learn something new. I love languages. My native language is Dutch but I do speak English pretty often since my husband is from Moroccan descent (we speak French and English) so i'm rather comfortable with English. I've been studying French for more than 8 years. My speaking skills are rather good. I speak German and Spanish moderately and I currently practice Moroccan Darija (Arabic). I'am quite a bit of a language nerd.
Further I am very outgoing and social. I totally love to be around and work with people, no matter what race, age. sex or origin. I am positive and full of energy. I have teaching skills since I used to study to become a language (French) teacher. However, I wouldn't bother to learn more about didactics and educational theories.
I used to work as as housemaid in a hotel in our small town which means that I have experience with cleaning.
As I already mentioned, I am open to learn something new and exciting!

Additional info

I am not a smoker, don't have a drivers license, I am a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

I am a vegetarian but I accept culture difference and I appreciate it if your decision is to ea meat! I am allergic for wool and dust.
