About me

My name is Natasha Nicole Herrera Smith, I grew up in Michoacan, Mexico and I currently live in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. So about me, growing up I learned that sometimes education isn't everything although it is important, it's not everything you need to be successful in life, you do need experience. The thing about experience is that it shows you immediately of what you want and that's why I signed up to this programme, because sometimes you have to take that step to follow the right path. My main goal is to become a doctor, I'm not sure if I want to be a pediatritian or a medical doctor yet but hopefully I will know after pre-med.. I want to travel in the summer and experience different parts of the world first hand, not in some resort or hotel, but how the people who live there live their lives.

Preferred location

I would like to travel to these destinations because after I graduate from medical school I am planning to move to one of these countries and I would like as much background information on the people and the location. Also every country that I selected has always been a lifetime dream to go visit, I believe that we should see as much of the world, and the people in it, as we can in our lifetime.

Skills

Growing up in Michoacan, Mexico I developed many useful skills like how to build garden materials (flower beds, etc.) and garden, my mom had a beautiful flower garden and a vegetable garden and I would help in any way I could. We also had chickens and ducks, apples trees, peach trees, and avocado trees. My parents also own a Cambridge English School in Michoacan, and I learned how to properly teach English and Spanish. I would always help in the house so if you need help with dishes, cooking, etc, I am the girl to call. I also babysat in Canada for a few months so I love children, of all ages.

I am not a smoker, don't have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.
