About me

I am 19 years old and currently taking a gap year after graduating from an international school. Panos is 20 and studying to become a production and administration engineer. Our English is excellent since we are bilingual.
The objective of our trip is to help out and experience both rural and urban environments. In other words, we are not expecting to party or be traditional tourists. We are both very practical people that enjoy manual tasks. This doesn't mean we are not creative, since we both have artistic hobbies and can help with planning and whatnot. We are both very communicative and would love to meet new people.
In general, we will be attentive and enthusiastic. We are used to working as a team but we'd make pretty good individual workers too. We have had the experience of living together, cooking for ourselves and keeping things clean. We do not take up much space since we are used to sleeping together in a single bed, so even space for one will do.

Preferred location

I will be travelling with my boyfriend, Panos, for around 20 days. Our starting point is London and our final destination is Dublin. Our trip will be defined by any volunteer opportunities we find.

Skills

I've had experience with gardening and animal care. The house I grew up in has a garden so I know the basics about weeding and planting, etc. I've volunteered at a Greek wildlife organisation by helping wounded animals return to the wild. I've owned several pets during my life and I've worked as a baby-sitter/English teacher in the past. I've had experience as an assistant on a yacht. Panos is very good with construction, painting, etc. He has quite a bit of knowledge in science. He will go out of his way to help others. In general, people tend to like him because of his positive attitude

Additional info

I am not a smoker, don't have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

I am allergic to figs and fig-trees. We may smoke outdoors but only if permitted. We love all kinds of food
