I speak German, English and Italian very well, French quite good and I am a beginner in Spanish. I would love to learn Spanish (& Tango as well!) properly during my stay in Argentina in Jan/Feb/March 2017.

About me

Hello! I am Valerie from Vienna, Austria, I am 32 years old and I will start my trip around the world in december 2016. I am very excited about it and it is my aim not to stay on the surface while traveling, but really digging into the culture and meet the locals. My background is basically performing arts. I work as a theater director, writer, choreographer, dancer and performer. I also did some films, radio plays and I am writing for several papers/magazines. I am experienced with different marginalized groups: I have worked with homeless people, refugees and teenagers here in Austria. My aim is to use creativity as a method to discover potential and self-esteem within every human being.

Skills

Basically I can offer anything that has to do with people and I am trained in the field of arts especially. I can offer to teach dance, theatre or creative writing classes. I can teach a language, play with children or babysit them, also go out with dogs or ride horses. I love animals, so I can volunteer in this sector too. Also media work like producing film or radio is possible. And of course working in a hotel or hostel. I am very organised and I speak four languages (after Argentina hopefully five!). I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

I am only an occasional smoker. I don't buy cigarettes, only if I go out I ask somebody sometimes for a cigarette.
