Hi! My name is Sarah. I'm 28 years old and from Sweden. Right now I'm in Ecuador studying Spanish. (Trying my best to learn as much as possible as fast as possible )
I'm a positive and open minded person, who has a big interest in other people. One of the things I appreciate most in life is to meet people and share experiences.
I'm very interested in questions about sustainable development, and environmental/ social justice. I'm an ethnologist and Im having a vast interest in different cultures and ways of living. I've also studied environment.
I'm very easy going and like to spend time outdoors and to live life very simple as much as I like to spend time at the gym or at the bar. Passed year I've been a social worker, working with immigrants and integration in Sweden.
I would like to volunteer in Ecuador.
I have a bachelors degree in ethnology. Which pretty much focusing on, society, diversity and cultural relations. Within that I wrote my first special work about how to create safety without having a home. That through qualitative interviews with homeless people in Stockholm.
My second special work is written about people engaged in communities for urban farming and their thoughts of sustainable development. Also mostly done through qualitative interviews.
I have also done some work about the importance of small scale fishery for rural communities in Mozambique within my master program in global environmental history. I have a great interest for the relationship between human and nature.
Last year I had a break from my studies (with the master thesis left) and have since then been working with immigrants and integration in Sweden.
Currently I'm in Ecuador trying to learn Spanish and to get valuable experiences.
I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.
