About me

I have always loved working with my hands. I love animals and the country, and have a keen interest in Ireland and its countryside, music, and language. I am active and like to walk, bicycle, horse back ride, and run.

Preferred location

I am interested in a work away in Ireland, anywhere along the west coast and especially Donegal. I am very handy, an electrician by trade and I have fixed up two 100 year old homes (old by USA standards!). I am comfortable with hand and power tools as well as physical labor. In my free time I have been learning mandolin, focusing on Irish music. I also horse back ride and am a canine handler for a Search and Rescue team.

Skills

My trade in the US is electrical but I do know my way around tools and can do minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, etc. I am neat and clean and know how to keep a place tidy. I wouldn't call myself a wonder in the garden but farm work and gardening does interest me, as does equine or any animal care.

Additional info

I am not a smoker, I have a drivers license, I am not a vegetarian and I have no allergies.

I am not a smoker and would prefer to not like to live in a smokers environment. I am laid back and casual.
